it's a transciever and a hi-fi DAC all at once. it uses aptX HD as the bluetooth protocol where available, which isn't truly lossless like sony's LDAC codec but supports the wireless equivalent of 24-48 audio resolution, which is closer than i or you can tell with most recordings.

With this hub I am able to just have one device on my desk in order to keep it clean and organized. The most outstanding detail about the hub is for sure its design!

Good product with extra USB ports for my PC. So far the data transfer is good as it relates to the SD Card. I have no issues (Well the item is new and has not been tested for long enough). But I am pleased with this purchase so far.
